From the Nilgiris to the Sundarbans, from the Western Ghats to the Northeastern forests, we stand in solidarity with indigenous communities across India to safeguard their existence and ancestral territories. These Adivasi communities endure discrimination, encroachments on their land, imposed development projects, and grave acts of violence merely due to their distinctive way of life. This injustice must come to an end.
Tribal Army is a community-driven organization dedicated to empowering and uplifting Adivasi communities in India since 2016. Our primary focus is on promoting sustainable development goals set by the United Nations, preserving cultural heritage, and advocating for social equality among tribal populations. We firmly believe in fostering positive change through peaceful means, engaging in deliberation, and working within the framework of the Indian constitution.
Adivasi pottery represents the traditional knowledge and artistic excellence of indigenous communities in India. The pottery created by these communities varies greatly in style and technique, from hand-molded earthenware to wheel-thrown terracotta. Additionally, using Adivasi pottery promotes sustainable living by providing an eco-friendly alternative to mass-produced, machine-made products.
